Utilizing the Petzl Twin Release pulley, these kits provide an easy to use 4:1 haul system that offers powerful and smooth raising and a very controlled lowering ability. Available in multiple lengths and rope diameters.
Details
This 4:1 haul system provides an easy to operate solution for confined space and industrial rescue. It can also be deployed as a simple to use haul system for first responders raising loads up steep slopes or embankments, or as a piggy back haul on on longer raises.
The Petzl Twin Release pulley provides mechanical progress capture during a raise, but can be easily lowered using the release handle, and extra friction can be added with use of the friction horn on the side for heavier loads.
Swivels on the Twin Release and the double pulley ensure that the lines stay straight and avoid twisting.
An optional remote release cord is included for when rigged to out of reach anchors like tall tripods.
Some assembly of the kit is required.

- 1 x Sterling WorkPro rope with a factory sewn eye.
- 1 x Petzl Twin Release Pulley
- 1 x Petzl SPIN L2 swivel pulley
- 2 x Petzl Bm’d carabiners
- 2 x Petzl Captivs for securing carabiners to pulleys
- 1 x screwlink for attaching rope to becket
- Remote pull cord
- 1 x storage bag with straps
