The BNQ standard requires chainsaw protection garment to be tested to chain speeds of 3000 feet per second as opposed to the less stringent US standards of 2750 feet per second. The Arborpants provide protection above and beyond product that simply meet the US standard.ArborPants™ are considerably lighter them competing products.  The size large ArborPants™ weights only 2.2 pounds, about a pound less than the major brands. Smart asymmetrical design (U.S. Patent No. 5,095,544), extended protection on left side of legs, where most injuries occur.ArborPants™ upper-front materials feature heavy-duty, water and oil resistant. Cordura® nylon and a Kevlar reinforced thigh, knee and ankle layer for extra durability and longer wear in abrasive conditions.ArborPants™ feature a super-lightweight and super-breathable Nylon/Spandex material in the seat and back of legs that feels like there is nothing there.  It allows an unsurpassed flexibility and freedom of movement while providing great abrasion resistance and durability.  It is a great combination to keep workers cool and comfortable in hot and active work environments.Ample deep pockets with flaps and zipper or Velcro closures to keep your tools and possessions in, and wood chips out.ArborPants™ are available in five models: Medium with 29” or 32” inseam, Large with 31” or 34” inseam and X-Large with 32” inseam.  Medium waist fits 29" to 35". Large waist fits 35" to 41. Xlarge waist fits 41" to 47".All models have an elastic waistband that stretches up to 8” for a customized fit and large 1- 1/2” belt loops and three point suspender loops for further securing a comfortable fit.
